Flora is located approximately 35 miles north of Enterprise, on Hwy 3, at an elevation of 4,630 feet.
Once a thriving town with ranching, farming and logging families living nearby on homesteaded land, Flora has officially become an unincorporated "ghost town" although a few people still call it home.
Some of the areas most spectacular scenery lies between Joseph Creek canyon on the east and the Grande Rhonde river near Troy on the west. The area is a hunting, fishing, horseback riding, ATV riding, hiking, and camping paradise, and boasts large elk, deer and bighorn sheep.
